DNJ Energy shares the Video on the experiences gained during Retrofitting of Numerical Relays at SEWA -132 kV Layyah Power Station.

DNJ Energy LLC successfully completed the challenging project by Supplying, Installing, Testing and Commissioning of 22 No.s of existing BBC Electromagnetic Relays with latest version of SIEMENS Numerical Relays in 12 No.s of 132kV Control and Relay Protection Panels during the first quarter of Year 2020.
Availing Shutdowns of Generators and Other 132 kV Feeders and working in LIVE Substations with Permit to Work were the challenging tasks. However, with the excellent support from SEWA – Transmission Protection Department and prompt delivery support of from SIEMENS for the relays unlocked the hassles and the project was successfully completed within the stipulated contract duration.
DNJ Energy had invited M/s SEWA and M/s SIEMENS to DNJ Head Quarters in Dubai, UAE for sharing the experiences gained during the challenging project and assured all required support for any upcoming projects.

DNJ Energy Engineers Mr. Rajkumar Narayanaswamy and Mr. Aravind Vadivellu took initiative and created a Video during the DNJ Training Week Held in DNJ Energy Head Quarters from June 27, 2020 to June 30, 2020.
Both the Engineers had the passion of developing the recipe of DNJ Energy activities into a short library and got the opportunity of ” Make It Happen ” during the Training Week.
DNJ Energy Team Members applauded and appreciated this form of gesture which these Engineers created within 24 hours duration.

In line with the Employees Development Program 2020, DNJ Management had conducted Training Week from June 27, 2020 to June 30, 2020.
Titled with “ Reshaping and Connecting Ourselves” with the objective of “ Time to Look, Time to Learn, Time to Lead”, DNJ Leaders generated a platform for new emerging Speakers to display their talent in empowering Team Members in various area of business. The Training Session were conducted with Safe Distancing Practices and Team Members from Operations, Project Management and Technical Services were able to benefit from the Training Week.
The Speakers Mr. Saurabh, Mr. Rajkumar, Mr. Balaji, Mr. Kalidoss, Mr. Kumaraswamy, Ms. Mary, Ms. Sameera, Ms. Ismahane, Mr. Anoop and Mr. Ranjith had great interactive sessions with live practical examples and were able to connect one-to-one with the attendees , while transferring the subject awareness, followed by the Awarding’s.
Based on the feedback from the Speakers and Attendees, DNJ Management look forward in giving more opportunities , developing new Speakers and allot more training hours for the Employees which shall result in value addition to the overall productivity of the Organization.
DNJ Project Leader commented “ Our Team proved it again and Our Clients are satisfied with our exhaustive efforts” after the successful completion of Inspection of ALPHA Project for M/s SIEMENS.
During the pandemic chaos, DNJ Team kept “Sailing Against the Wind and ensured to Reach the Destination” as per the scheduled project delivery dates, which was the greatest challenge till date. The Leaders and the team members explored all the possible ways to ensure timely materials delivery, maintaining continuity in quality production process and arrangement of required resources for the site works without any disruption for all the fast track projects.
DNJ ensured timely delivery of SHAT AL ARAB Project (IRAQ PSP) CRP Panels under M/s GE GRID Solutions, Inspection of ZUID ALPHA Platform HKZA Project CRP Panels for M/s SIEMENS , Completion of Panel Production for KIZAD 33/11 kV Substation-1 for M/s ABB Industries followed by the Delivery and Installation of DMZ SCMS Panels for DEWA 132/11 kV Substations for M/s SIEMENS.
Although the delivery timelines were CHALLENGING, DNJ Team members ensured in MAKING IT HAPPEN.

Main Client – Larsen and Toubro and OEM – M/s ABB Industries LLC applauded the persistent efforts taken by DNJ Energy Team Members for the successful energization of NIBRAS-33/11 kV AADC Substation in spite of the challenging situation of COVID-19.
Under the Project Leader-Mr. Arsath Zaffir, the Technical Service Division Leaders Mr. Vasu, Mr. Vignesh along with the crew members Mr. Hajim Bhasha, Mr. Manivel, Mr. Murugan, Mr. Amthan Ali, Mr. Kamala Kannan ( Late), Mr. Hari Prasath and other technical team members ensured quality support for the commissioning activities.

DNJ Group augmented the Panel Integration Capacity by Reviving the New Facility in Dubai, UAE amidst the ongoing economic challenges during the global impact of COVID-19.
Dubai Head Office along with State of Art Crafted Office and Panel Production Facility, has the capacity of Integrating and Storage of about 100 Panels ( Control Protection, SCADA, SCMS, RTU, LCC panels) which is been designed with Shop floor Safe Distance Working Criteria. The Panel Testing Zone, Relay Tests Benches, , Production View Galleria, Training Pavilions, Canteen Facilities, Ample Parking Arrangements, 24×7 Security, creates a conducive atmosphere , creative work culture for the DNJ Team Members and Business Associates.
While marching forward, DNJ shall keep maintaining proactive communication methods with Clients and Employees, follow 3-R’s ( Review, Reset, Renew) process improvement methodologies, Employee Sustainability Programs and Enhance Business Developments.

In view of the above, DNJ conducted #DNJ EXPLORES OUT campaign which was aimed at Operational Excellence and Process Improvements , wherein the DNJ Team Leaders from all Divisions participated and presented various proposals and held a detailed brain storming sessions. DNJ Management accepted few of the proposals and put into practice for internal review, while the participating Team Members were awarded with cash prizes. DNJ Team Members demonstrated their innovative ideas in the form of art within Office Premises.

DNJ Team Members whole heartedly came with their Best Ideas and Winning Opinions for the noble cause of supporting the DNJ community with Solidarity and Humanity.
COVID -19, the pandemic has impacted global territories economy and been accelerating exponentially disrupting all aspects of our lives. During this tough phase, DNJ Management stands “2BUNITED” and wish all the DNJ Team members and their families with Good Health and Safe Stay.
As a part of DNJ campaign “#2BUNITED”, DNJ Management had taken initiative in distribution of about 500 Meals per day to all their employees in UAE, which helps in restriction of movement of employees thereby following Stay Home – Stay Safe practice and adopting Work from Home Culture. Furthermore, DNJ Management initiated the disinfection program for all their employee’s accommodation, Offices and Factory premises.
DNJ Management thank all the team members who are restlessly involved in the preparation and distribution of daily meals, conducting regular visits to check employee’s accommodation following safe practices and employee’s health conditions and arranging COVID-19 tests for DNJ Employees with Hospital Authorities.
