The Happiness Club within DNJ headed by Mrs. Sarojini and Ms. Sruthi crafted the Engineers Day Celebration with fun and excitement. Mrs. Sarojini welcomed all the DNJ-INEERS and expressed the importance of Engineering and Engineers in DNJ Family and in our society. Engineering Quiz, Games, Talk Shows and Raffle Draws were part of the DNJ-INEERS Engineer Day Celebration.

However, honoring the excellence of DNJ-INEERS with appreciation letters was the highlight of the celebration, wherein DNJ Management thanked DNJ-INEERS for the unwavering creativity and support while facing Engineering Challenges.

DNJ-INEERS Saurabh, Nandy, Pete, Ramesh, Priyanka and Muthupandi expressed their respective life Journey of being an Engineer . DNJ Leaders expressed gratitude to all the DNJ-INEERS for the passion , dedication and contribution towards the success journey of DNJ and encouraged the team for mentoring future generation of Engineers and seeking innovative solutions for making sustainable future.

With the baggage of experiences and lessons learnt from previous Projects, DNJ Team were able to arrange the Factory Acceptance Test for the 132 kV Protection Relay Panels for TRANSCO-N 16682 Project from 21st August to 25th August 2023 at DNJ Electrical Industries Premises.

TRANSCO N16682 project involved replacement of existing 400 kV, 220 kV,132 kV Control and Protection Panels, AVR Panels with new Panels ( 104 No.s ) manufactured by DNJ Electrical Industries for M/s HITACHI Energy, the OEM of the project. DNJ Electrical Industries have already manufactured and delivered more than 70% of the Project Panels successfully and the remaining 30% is under final stages of manufacturing.

The Factory Acceptance Test were witnessed by Technical Experts from the client TRANSCO and HITACHI ENERGY. The technical crew members were extremely convinced and satisfied with FAT Set up and the support extended by DNJ Team.

HITACHI Leader Mr. Rudresh N expressed gratitude to all the DNJ Team Members who had contributed their expertise, dedication, and time to conclude the project successfully. While DNJ Management expressed thanks to HITACHI ENERGY for the great association for this prestigious project and the timely guidance supported from HITACHI technical experts.

DNJ Team is known for accepting new “Challenges” and reaching “Milestones” as per the defined frame of time and quality. With the same approach, the DNJ Team were able to complete the Factory Acceptance Test successfully on Aug 7, 2023 for the Replacement of RTU System by Assembly, Wiring and Internal Testing of 6 No’s RTU Panels for DUBAI AIRPORTS PROJECT -. DAEP – SP3 – BLD – 001.

The Factory Acceptance Test at DNJ Headquarters, Dubai were witnessed by Technical Experts from the client Dubai Airport (DAEP), the Consultant M/s DAR, the Main Contractor M/s ASU and the SCADA System Owner Hitachi Energy. The entire technical crew members were extremely convinced and satisfied with FAT Set up and the support extended by DNJ Team.

DNJ Leader Mr. Saurabh expressed gratitude to every member who contributed their expertise, dedication, and time to conclude the project successfully. While DNJ Management expressed that such association and opportunity with HITACHI ENERGY signifies another step forward and cements DNJ’s reputation as an industry leader in efficiency and ingenuity.

It was indeed a great pleasure to welcome the Engineering and Production Management Team from ABB INDUSTRIES, UAE Dubai Office to the DNJ ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, UAE on April 28, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to get a firsthand understanding of DNJ Electrical Industries Manufacturing Operations, and the detailed Quality Process involved for both Sheet Metal Enclosures Unit and Panel Integration Unit.

DNJ Leaders Mr. Subhabrata Nandy and Mr. Virender Sharma welcomed the esteemed ABB Industries Team Members, Mr. Shiv Ganesh, Mr. Kollannoor Thomas and Mr. Antony Kollannoor and gave a presentation on the history of DNJ Group highlighting the achievements and lessons learnt, followed by a walk through the DNJ Factory Facilities.

ABB Industries Team Members visited every zone on the production shopfloor and shared their past experiences which will help DNJ EI Team in enhancing the products development process thereby adapting the latest design and industry standards.

DNJ Group looks forward to augmenting the research and development team to focus on cost effective solutions and elevating quality criteria on the Panel Production and Integration Business.

“ Having IFTAR together is a sign of blessing and togetherness ”

DNJ HAPPINESS AND CULTURAL CLUB organized IFTAR -2023 on April 15, 2023 at DNJ Head Quarters, Dubai for all the Team Members along with Family Members. It was a great event of bringing all team members together, making arrangements and sharing the cultural Importance of having IFTAR Together.

Post IFTAR, team members expressed Gratitude and exchanged Greetings.

As a part of the Client’s Feedback Program Y-2023, DNJ Management Team visited ETIHAD WATER & ELECTRICITY (EWE) – 132/33/11 kV SHARISHA MAIN SUBSTATION, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE on March 16, 2023.

M/s SCAN Electromechanical Co. LLC ,is the EPC Contractor for the EWE – 132/33/11 kV SHARISHA MAIN SUBSTATION, while DNJ Electrical Industries have manufactured and supplied 132 kV LCC Panels, 132 kV and 33 kV Control and Protection Panels and 132 kV SCMS Panels and 33 kV VT Boxes through SIEMENS Energy LLC for the project.

Mr. Zaheer Ahamed, the Project Manager – SCAN Electromechanical Co. LLC welcomed the DNJ Team and arranged a walkthrough to the 132kV GIS, 33 kV and 11 kV Switchgear Rooms, Control Rooms, Transformer Yards and Fire Fighting Pump Room and shared the experiences and countless challenges faced during the various stages of the project.

Overall, the Visit was a great learning experience for DNJ Team to understand the challenges faced while handling the turnkey projects from Mr. Zaheer Ahamed and at the same time a high level of satisfaction knowing the Client’s positive feedback on the Various Panels delivered by DNJ as per the time schedule for the Project.

DNJ Team thanked M/s SCAN Electromechanical Co. LLC Management for the arrangement of the Site Visit and look forward to similar fruitful association in future.

It was indeed a great pleasure to welcome the Supply Chain Management Team from HITACHI ENERGY, UAE Dubai Office to the DNJ ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, UAE on April 5, 2023. The purpose of the visit was to get a firsthand understanding of DNJ Electrical Industries Manufacturing Operations and the detailed Quality Process involved.

DNJ Leaders gave a presentation on the history of DNJ Group highlighting the achievements and lessons learnt for past 15 years of business, followed by a walk through the DNJ Factory Facilities for the esteemed HITACHI Energy Team Members Mr. Lavdrim Rexhepi and Ms. Samah Basseem. DNJ Leaders also lead the team to visit the new Sheet Metal Manufacturing Unit and shared the future vision of DNJ in capitalizing the Power Growth of UAE and Middle East. While sharing the positive feedback on the visit, Mr. Lavdrim Rexhepi expressed appreciation for the transparency and openness of the DNJ Team.

DNJ Commences the Sheet Metal Enclosure Manufacturing Process from Feb 2023. The video demonstrates the various quality process for manufacturing of first prototype Sheet Metal Enclosure ( 2200mm x 800mm x 600 mm ) for one of the utility in UAE. Looking forward for associating with Panel Integrators, Panel Manufacturers, Switchgear Manufacturing Companies, EPC and MEP Contractors, Consultants in near future.

DNJ Management welcomed GE Renewable Energy – Grid Solutions Management Team on March 6, 2023 to the newly opened DNJ Sheet Metal Enclosure Factory, which is a part of DNJ Electrical Industries in the same premises.

The objective of the visit was to review the Facilities and Process Flow of the Sheet Metal Enclosure Factory and to discuss and explore various options in the Manufacturing of Sheet Metal Enclosures and thereby building up a long term business relationship with DNJ in the competitive market for targeting future projects.

DNJ Leaders arranged a walk through in DNJ Sheet Metal Factory premises which is having production capacity of about 100 Panels / month and storage capacity of around 350 Panels with overall build up area of 50,763 sq.feets for Production and Storage Facility.

DNJ Leaders look forward in building up a focused vision in expanding the business plan and emerge DNJ as a new Brand in the area of Sheet Metal Enclosure Manufacturing business competitive market in UAE and Middle East.

As a part of the Employee Engagement Program -Y2023, DNJ-ineers were truly delighted to welcome Mr. Deepak Divakaran, Inpatient Manager , Royal Hospital Sharjah for conducting a Training Session on “ Power of Positive Thinking at Workplace ” on February 9, 2023 at DNJ Head Quarters.

The main objective of this particular External Training Session was to guide and motivate DNJ-ineers more effectively using goal setting and positive outcomes examples. Ms. Sameera Hussain – People’s Manager expressed gratitude by mentioning “ Such Trainings definitely help in effectively utilizing strategic approach in enhancing skills, techniques and results in high performance teamwork”.
