DNJ Team have been accepting Challenges through out this pandemic season on various aspects and have never exhausted or delayed in delivering results on time. DNJ Project Leader Mr. Saurabh stated with a deep relief that “The journey of adhering to the Factory Acceptance Tests dates for SEWGA—Al JADA-132kV– Control and Protection Panels were very much challenging. However, DNJ Teamwork Proved again and Our Clients were satisfied with our Quality Services and Commitment”.
The Factory Acceptance Tests for SEWGA– 132kV Al JADA Substation was carried out ONLINE for the Main Client SEWGA from Feb 1, 2021 to Feb 4, 2021 and was successfully completed.
The ONLINE Tests were witnessed by SEWGA Technical Experts Mr. Shankar N, Mr. Veerapan N , Ms. Rikku Miriam and other experts from M/s GECO and M/s SIEMENS. The FAT was completed as per the technical specification of clients requirements.
DNJ Management congratulated the DNJ Entire Team for the dedicated determination and efforts taken during this success journey.
Under the ongoing prestigious DP/PRA/031A3 project of Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects ( DAEP), the first Factory Acceptance Test ( FAT ) Witness for the Protection Relays and BCPU’s , RTU and SCS Panels were successfully completed at DNJ Energy Premises during October 2020.
The Technical Experts from the Main Client– M/s DAEP, the consultant M/s DAR, the OEM M/s ABB-Hitachi along with DNJ Energy Team had a detailed brain storming sessions and concluded successfully, meeting the technical requirements of the project.
DNJ Energy is involved in Manufacturing of RTU-SCMS Panels and Blister Panels, FAT Set-Up Arrangements, Testing of Protection Relays, BCPU’s and Retrofitting Services on 11 kV Switchgears within Dubai Airport 132/11 kV Substations.
DNJ extended all required technical support for the FAT arrangements to the esteemed Technical experts and appreciated all the DNJ Team Members who were pro-actively involved in the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test as per the schedule.
As a part of continuous process Improvement program and Business Strategic Vision- 2020 , DNJ Management had initiated Pre-Qualification for FEWA for Manufacturing of Control and Relay Panels. Subsequently, FEWA Pre-Qualification Team visited DNJ Electrical Industries Premises on August 20, 2020. DNJ Management welcomed FEWA PQ -Technical Experts Eng. Ahmed Alyassi, Eng. Majed Almazrouei, Eng. Rathy Kamal and had walkthrough to the Factory Facilities followed by detailed Technical presentation.
The objective of the Factory Visit was to check and ensure the Factory Facilities, Capabilities , Quality Aspects, Process Flows and Technical Competencies of DNJ Team Members for the FEWA Pre-Qualification and the Approval process under the category of “ Manufacturing of Control and Relay Panels” for DNJ Electrical Industries. After the detailed FEWA review and audit process, DNJ Electrical Industries obtained FEWA Approval for 132 kV, 33 kV and 11 kV category.
DNJ Management takes this opportunity to thank FEWA Management Team and all DNJ Team members who had actively participated in FEWA Pre-Qualification Process, which added another feather on DNJ milestone achievement scale.
DNJ have been executing various 11/0.4 kV Substation Installation, Replacement and Shifting works during last decade and have come across many challenging works. Recently, DNJ was allotted another challenging project by SEWGA for a 11/0.4 kV Substation Shifting works at SS-10, Al Buteena Area in Sharjah from Building Basement to Open adjacent area within a limited time duration of Six hours duration.
The challenges included accessibility issues and movement of New Transformer (1000 kVA) , 11 kV RMU and LV Board within the narrow space of 2 meters for a distance of about 30 meters from Main Access Road, taking out old Substation equipment’s from existing old building and Installing and Energizing the Substation within the shutdown duration of Six Hours. DNJ Project Leader Mr. Vishal Mahale along with the crew members carried out a detailed advance Site Survey evaluation and followed proactive preparation in terms of logistics, vehicles, tools and completed the task successfully following SEWGA HSE Procedures.
DNJ Management congratulated Leader Mr. Vishal Mahale and entire crew members for executing the challenging work successfully and gaining trust of SEWGA Officials.

DNJ extended all required technical support to the esteemed experts from M/s SEWGA—Mr. Shankar Narayanan, M/s L&T—Mr. Murugesan, Mr. Oscar, M/s SIEMENS, – Mr. Gaurav Sachan to witness the Testing and Quality aspects along with the technical specification as per clients requirements for the 132kV LCC panels offered for Factory Acceptance Test.
DNJ Management congratulated the DNJ Technical Trio Members Mr. Balaji Jagadeesan, Mr. Kalidoss Narayansamy and Mr. Samad Kadavath for their dedicated efforts in developing the in-house Universal LCC Simulator Unit along with the Project Leader Mr. Saurabh Chourasia and Team Members for successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test as per the schedule.
